Industrial Solutions International Ltd (ISI) of Aberdeen, Scotland has appointed Francis Torque Service Inc (FTS) of Luling, LA as exclusive distributor for the U.S Gulf of Mexico Region for the ThinJack™ range of flange separation products and services. The combination of ISI and FTS delivers a highly effective range of cost-effective flange separation and maintenance services to the industry.
ThinJack™ is a patented steel envelope which is hydraulically inflated to deliver hundreds of tonnes of force which can be used to separate flanges which have become stuck due to rust or internal friction. With a highly successful track record ThinJack™ has become a key tool in the oil and gas industry for splitting apart stuck flanges and removing bonnets from christmas trees especially where conventional flange spreaders or pulling devices are not able to function. ThinJack™ plays a major role in accelerating refurbishment and maintenance of production facilities to meet the increasing global demand for oil and gas.
